[OC Character Sheet: Willow]

It's always nice to see more character art from you, and I'm excited to see what you end up doing with all these nice character designs you have going on! I really like all the tattoos going on; when they are done well, tattoos are some of the prettiest things to look at, but I know how difficult they can be to draw consistently. On that front, I wish you luck!

A small nitpick is that the piercing on her nose is a little difficult to make out. I honestly thought the piercing color splice was implying some hidden piercings, hahah.

I’m both flattered and honored to hear that! Willow was an OC I’d always wanted to make a character sheet for, but was intimidated by the smaller details of her design. Like a lot of my recent works, if I’d tried to make this earlier in my career, it wouldn’t be as good.

Much thanks on that front! Consistency has been a sticking point of mine, and making this sheet was actually an attempt to help avoid that issue. With this, I’m not constantly having to guess at her design by referencing random drawings of her.

For the most part I agree with him that it’s a weak design and could stand improvement, but I genuinely like that part and will die on the hill for it.

[Crossbones Locked n' Loaded]

Very nice dude! I'll admit I have absolutely no idea about who crossbones is, but I think you did a really good job with the design! The minimal use of color really draws the eyes to where there is contrast in the piece, like Crossbone's mask, and I'm honestly amazed at how detailed you got with just shading.

That’s totally understandable, Crossbones is one of those many characters in comics that is recognizable, but never really given much in the way of distinct personality. I kind of like that, where he’s just some dick, but he can often feel like they just needed a generic baddie without a super clear M.O.

That was my intention, I’m happy it worked!

Legit I want to see you draw for a comic book. I'll admit, I don't know too much about anyone but Kamala and Miles, but this still looks really interesting, and I hope you share more of this hypothetical miniseries with us! Keep up the go work dude!

There’s Riri Williams, a young woman who goes by Ironheart after reverse-engineering her own suit from Tony Stark’s designs. Robbie Reyes is a new Ghost Rider, driving a hellish Dodge Charger instead of a motorcycle, and Sam Alexander, the new Nova. Robbie’s and Sam’s comics in particular are really, really good, and I highly recommend looking into them.

It really will be, it always looks good! This design has been homaged or remade before, but I wanted to stick as close to the idea of it being the original symbiote suit as I could. I’m glad that you like it!
